New Food Pantry now available to neighborhood and surrounding areas twice a month. Every 2nd Thursday of each month we will be giving away non-perishable goods and personal care items. On the 4th Thursday of each month we will be serving a hot meal.

Join A Step Ahead of East Tennessee for the 3rd Annual Back to Prom 1980's style. Our '80's event is all about big hair, mix tapes, acid wash jeans. So, break out your neon, tulle, and Members Only jackets for an evening that celebrates the best decade ever and access to free birth control and health exams.
Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres, two hosted cocktails, and a cash bar. You can buy your date a corsage, get an official prom photo, and dance to an 80's vibe provided by DJ Molly Parti! Also, check out our fabulous silent auction featuring a mix of vintage collectables, experiences, and celebrity signed items.
The $ of purchased tickets, can be designated to support your favorite prom court nominee - the person who raises the most $ for ASAFET will be crowned Prom Queen the night of the event! If you can't attend the event, you can still donate to ensure your favorite gets the crown.

Join fellow artists on Saturday mornings for a creative refresh in a welcoming, lighthearted environment. You’ll have the option of being inside, in a spacious, light-filled space, or outside under a covered pavilion. You can bring a project you’d like to work on, sketch from provided still lifes, or work plein aire.
These mini-retreats are located in West Knox, in a 20+ acre bucolic setting with fields and woods, on the Tennessee River. All levels are welcome and no experience is needed.
$20 per session or $50 for 3 sessions includes art supplies and yummy snacks.

Amadeus Concert Ensemble will present a FREE Passover Musical Feast concert under the direction of Artistic Director Brian Salesky on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Arnstein Jewish Community Center (6800 Deane Hill Drive). The entire community is invited to attend this unique celebration of music associated with the holiday of Passover which recalls the biblical story of the Exodus of the Hebrew people from Egypt. The program will feature favorite Passover seder music, popular award-winning songs from the animated movie The Prince of Egypt, thrilling cantorial jewels, and a stirring rendition of the spiritual “Go Down Moses.” Reservations and tickets are not required to attend this concert. Free parking is provided.
Maestro Salesky will host and accompany the performance featuring soprano Jacqueline Brecheen, tenor John Overholt, violinist Joshua Ulrich, and the Stanford Eisenberg Knoxville Jewish Day School Choir.
Scheduled guest speakers include RANDY BOYD, PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett, Rev. Reneé Kesler, President of Beck Cultural Exchange Center, and Bobby Scott, Ministry Engagement Director of Christians United for Israel.
