The Blount County Friends of the Library will celebrate 50 years of service to the community. Come in anytime during the day for the self-guided scavenger hunt and check out the display case with the history of the Friends. At 2 pm, the Friends will serve sparkling cider and cookies.

Celebrate Earth Day with the eighth annual South Knoxville Community Cleanup!
The community-wide South Knoxville Community Cleanup will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9am-12pm. The event base will be at Mary Vestal Park, located at 522 Maryville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
We will be removing litter from South Knoxville roads, creeks, and parks. Participants of any age are welcome! We look forward to seeing those who live, work, or play in South Knoxville - as well as anyone who wants to lend a helping hand.
Presented by the Knoxville Garden Club and Garden Study Club, the 60th anniversary of the Talahi Plant Sale will debut at a brand new location, Westminster Presbyterian Church. All proceeds from the sale go to benefit local organizations including Blount Mansion, Ijams Nature Center and the Knoxville Botanical Garden. The sale boasts a vibrant assortment of plants, shrubs, perennials, annuals, home-baked goods and local gardening vendors. Come find the perfect annual or unique perennial to plant as the weather warms in East Tennessee!

The 4th Annual Knox Rox Benefit Concert is an outdoor concert to support the Hillcrest Healthcare Foundation and The Daily Living Center.
