New Food Pantry now available to neighborhood and surrounding areas twice a month. Every 2nd Thursday of each month we will be giving away non-perishable goods and personal care items. On the 4th Thursday of each month we will be serving a hot meal.

The Townsend Community choir will be singing songs from the Rat Pack Era. Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. will take us back to the inspiring, jazzy days of the famous Rat Pack. Millie Rochelle will be a special guest, Taylor Ledbetter, one our very own will perform a few songs on her own and possibly a few other local surprises. Tomi McEvoy is our Director and Sarah Bollschweiler, accompianist.

Blount Mansion is proud to present the East Tennessee Foundation and their easy-to-understand presentation on how to create a legacy with Planned Giving!We are meeting the evening of Tuesday, November 4 at 6:00 PM. Presentation will be approximately a half hour.The good people over at East Tennessee Foundation, who do immeasurable good for the East Tennessee community, will help you understand how you can incorporate planned giving into your will.

Keep Knoxville Beautiful will be celebrating America Recycles Day with our November Saturday Spruce Up on November 15th from 10am-12pm. We will be removing litter from the area around 640 Plaza in the West Haven neighborhood. Stay tuned for more about how we will be celebrating America Recycles Day!
We highly recommend wearing long pants, and all volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes for the event. Additionally, we recommend bringing your own water!
KKB will be providing all other supplies that are needed.
