Bizet’s Carmen is a tale as irresistible as its heroine. Carmen is bold, magnetic, and fiercely independent—living life on her own terms in sultry Seville. Make plans to attend the Oak Ridge Community Band Halloween Concert on Sunday afternoon, October 26, 4 p.m. at A.K. Bissell Park located at 1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike in Oak Ridge. This is a family-friendly concert with treats for the kids and a special program focusing on music about animals ranging from elephants to meerkats to tigers to frogs and more. This will be a super fun event and there is no admission fee. Children and adults are invited to wear their Halloween costumes, and band members will be doing so too. Bring chairs or blankets for outdoor seating and prepare for a really enjoyable afternoon!

New Food Pantry now available to neighborhood and surrounding areas twice a month. Every 2nd Thursday of each month we will be giving away non-perishable goods and personal care items. On the 4th Thursday of each month we will be serving a hot meal.
