Puzzling Adventures are a cross between a scavenger hunt, an adventure race, and an informative self-guided walking tour. Each adventure consists of a series of locations that you are guided to where you are required to answer a question or solve a puzzle to receive your next instruction. Compete as a group, individually or create multiple teams and race each other. Almost all of our adventures are designed to be wheelchair and stroller friendly and all are carefully crafted to be entertaining and informative with something to appeal to all ages. Complete the adventure as quickly as possible to win first place or take your time and enjoy the journey. Price is per team, not per person. Celebrating the PIlot Club of Lenoir City's 70th Anniversary.

Join us for the return of this popular tasting event, featuring a wide variety of decadent chocolate desserts & candies, a dazzling charcuterie spread, and wine & beer at the open bar. Guests can also celebrate the club's 70th Anniversary by throwing back to the 1950's and enjoying some live, sentimental music from the incredible Frank Sinatra impersonator, Camren Alvarez.

All proceeds benefit the Pilot Club of Lenoir City and its brain-health & safety and community programs such as Special Olympics, The Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center, Project Lifesaver, Forget Me Not 5K, Lenoir City's All-Access Playground and Splash Pad, bicycle helmets for children, and Pilot International's BrainMinders educational program for elementary students.

New Food Pantry now available to neighborhood and surrounding areas twice a month. Every 2nd Thursday of each month we will be giving away non-perishable goods and personal care items. On the 4th Thursday of each month we will be serving a hot meal.

Fern Foray

When? Friday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Meeting location: Little River Trailhead at Elkmont

Description: Join us for an exciting journey into the world of ferns in Great Smoky Mountains National Park! UTK Ecology and Evolutionary Biology lecturer and renowned botany expert, Dr. Pat Cox, will share her in-depth knowledge of the park’s diverse fern species. Discover the art of identifying and documenting these fascinating plants as she recounts her experience leading an ambitious team in a park-wide fern foray for the ATBI, covering every trail in the park.

We will be using the iNaturalist app, to take photos and share to the community science platform. No prior experience necessary!

On May 9 at 6:00 PM, join us at the East Tennessee History Center for a captivating evening with the talented Jeff Zentner, author of The Serpent King, In the Wild Light, Colton Gentry’s Third Act, and many more. Get ready to dive into his world of storytelling as he shares insights into his writing process and the journey behind his celebrated works.

Jeff Zentner is the author of two New York Times Notable Books: The Serpent King and In the Wild Light, as well as Goodbye Days, Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee, Colton Gentry’s Third Act, and Sunrise Nights. His work has won numerous awards, including the ALA’s William C. Morris Award, the Amelia Elizabeth Walden Award (twice!), and two long-listings for the Carnegie Medal. Zentner’s books have been translated into 15 languages, and he currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
