Puzzling Adventures are a cross between a scavenger hunt, an adventure race, and an informative self-guided walking tour. Each adventure consists of a series of locations that you are guided to where you are required to answer a question or solve a puzzle to receive your next instruction. Compete as a group, individually or create multiple teams and race each other. Almost all of our adventures are designed to be wheelchair and stroller friendly and all are carefully crafted to be entertaining and informative with something to appeal to all ages. Complete the adventure as quickly as possible to win first place or take your time and enjoy the journey. Price is per team, not per person. Groups can be any size, but small groups are recommended for the best experience.

Goodwill Industries is hosting the 15th Annual Goodwill Golf Classic on Thursday, August 21st, 2025, at Avalon Country Club in Lenoir City, with special guest Coach Tony Vitello. Coach will be at the course during lunch to take photos and sign the photos for each golfer.

New Food Pantry now available to neighborhood and surrounding areas twice a month. Every 2nd Thursday of each month we will be giving away non-perishable goods and personal care items. On the 4th Thursday of each month we will be serving a hot meal.

Four Knoxville arts organizations invite you to join a thoughtful discussion on the topic of Changing Tides: Censorship in the Arts. A panel discussion comprised of leaders in Knoxville’s arts community, representing the Knoxville Museum of Art, the Knoxville Opera, the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, and the Clarence Brown Theatre, will explore the commonalities and unique approaches these organizations face in the changing climate of social and artistic censorship. Steven Matijcio, David L. Butler Executive Director of the Knoxville Museum of Art, will moderate a lively discussion between the four panelists as they examine what is taboo in the arts today and how each organization approaches it in their unique way.

Traditional Irish Arts of Knoxville is proud to present a trio of America's finest traditional Irish musicians. Sean Gavin, Liz Hanley, and Don Penzien will bring the tunes and songs of Ireland to Knoxville TN, for a night of world-class music. Join us Saturday, August 23rd, at the Historic Laurel Theater. The performance will begin at 8 pm.A master of the uilleann pipes, Irish flute, and tin whistle, Seán Gavin is one of the most highly regarded performers and teachers of traditional Irish music. He is the first musician born outside Ireland to win the prestigious Seán Ó Riada Gold medal, and the author of a popular tin whistle book published by Hal Leonard. Seán is the founder and director of the Irish Music Institute – a non-profit music school based in Southeast Michigan, and also serves as coordinator of Celtic Week at the Swannanoa Gathering in North Carolina.Liz Hanley is a Brooklyn based singer and fiddle player across many genres. Growing up in Boston, Liz learned traditional fiddle tunes from her father/fiddle player Andy Hanley, songs and stories from her grandparents, Martin Hanley, Rita McNamara. She attended the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and has toured globally with Mick Moloney and the Green Fields of America and The Murphy Beds. Don Penzien has long been a top-flight performer of Irish traditional music. Frequently on the road playing concerts and festivals with his many projects, including Gailfean (featuring Brian Conway, John Whelan & Máirtín de Cógáin), The Máirtín de Cógáin Project, and Shared Madness (featuring Haley Richardson of Riverdance). Don is widely recognized for his reserved backing style, and his dexterous work on DADGAD-tuned guitar provides solid, driving rhythms to traditional tunes.
