Matthew Motley speaks with Principal Second Violin Edward Pulgar, Second Horn Kelsey Bentley, and Cellist Adam Ayers about the upcoming KSO Chamber Classics Concert.

On Sunday January 26th at 2:30 in the historic Bijou Theatre the KSO’s Chamber Classics series continues with a concert entitled Mozart and More. The program includes Werner and Benshoof works for Cello quartet, Victor Ewald's trailblazing Brass Quintet No. 1 and will feature Violinist Edward Pulgar celebrating 20 years with the KSO by leading the chamber orchestra in Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3.

A Kansas native, Matthew began his journey south by attending the University of Georgia. It was here that he got his start in public radio, working on WUGA’s classical program Night Music. After graduating in 2024 with degrees in music and computer science, Matthew joined WUOT as host of the Afternoon Concert.
