You are cordially invited to attend a delicious Ukrainian-inspired buffet dinner for adults prepared by Chef Eric (Aramark Catering Company) and pizza party with fun activities and face painting for children. While you enjoy a relaxing dinner night out, complete with wine and live music, your children will enjoy a pizza party in the classroom next door and participate in supervised fun as well as educational activities that include the following options:
1. Learning basic paper folding origami: gives child a sense of accomplishment after folding a model.
2. Making Ukrainian flower crowns & heart-shaped decorations: emphasizes the Ukraine national flower and concern for Ukrainians.
3. Participating in Sunflowers for Ukraine Painting / Drawing workshop (for older children): inspires art appreciation for Vincent van Gogh’s paintings of sunflowers with emphasis on gratitude symbolism; and promotes creativity in making a take-home piece of art.
4. Participating in coloring workshop (for younger children): promotes creativity & educational awareness of Ukrainian and USA national themes (flowers, birds, flags, etc.) and provides take-home art.
5. Completing educational crossword puzzle: affords learning basic facts about Ukraine and the United States (language, capital, food, animals, and other).
