Sevier Day at Marble Springs
Sevier Day at Marble Springs
Join us for our Annual Sevier Day Celebration! Party like it's 1745 for John Sevier’s 281st birthday celebration at Marble Springs State Historic Site on Saturday, September 19th from 11am-4pm. Admission is FREE!
Step back in time for a day of music, crafts, living history, and family fun! Throughout the day, enjoy historic blacksmithing, pottery, weaving, apple butter, and broom making demonstrations, along with hands-on activities and crafts for all ages! Don’t miss live music from The Bearded Trio to fill up the springs, a lively performance from the Knoxville Irish Step Dancers, and an engaging talk by Dr. Michael Lynch on The Overmountain Men and their involvement in the Revolutionary War’s Southern Campaign. More event details and a full schedule will be announced soon!
Whether you're a history enthusiast, or just looking for a fun afternoon with the family, Sevier Day offers something for everyone!
