KSO Opens 2021-2022 Season with "Friendship, Family, and Community"

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will be opening their 2021-2022 season with a program including Umoja: Anthem for Unity by Valerie Coleman, Edward Elgar's Enigma Variations, and a brand new take on Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The Four Seasons will include live spoken word from members of Knoxville-based poetry collective, The 5th Woman, and violinist Robyn Bollinger. In this interview, Clara Prinston speaks with KSO Music Director Aram Demirjian and Rhea Carmon, Executive Director of The 5th Woman and Knoxville's Poet Laureate.
