WUOT Wins 2022 Golden Press Card Awards

WUOT is the proud recipient of four Golden Press Card awards for 2022. The competition, held by the East Tennessee Society of Professional Journalists, recognizes journalistic excellence in the region.

WUOT swept the radio category for 2022, winning first-place awards for sports reporting and feature reporting, and both first and second places for general reporting. Former News Director Chrissy Keuper was named across all four categories. WUOT Program Director Greg Hill shared first place on general reporting with the “Dialogue” series, and contributor Carole Myers shared second place with Health Connections.
