HealthConnections: Changing the Conversation About Recovery from Substance Use Disorder

According to recent statistics, 28 million or 9-11% of Americans have a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and some estimates indicate the number could be even higher. Dr. Robert Pack, Director of the East Tennessee State University Addiction Science Center, says recovery is not only possible, it's likely. He speaks with Dr. Carole Myers of the University of Tennessee College of Nursing.
