Paramount Global has sold Simon & Schuster to the private equity firm KKR. The deal comes nearly a year after the Department of Justice blocked Penguin Random House from acquiring Simon & Schuster.

Brights Zoo in Tennessee is asking the public to help pick a name for the giraffe that was born without spots on July 31. The zoo says she may be the only solid-colored reticulated giraffe alive.

Alaska's capital is usually crammed with tourists who come to see glaciers. After flooding from a melting glacier, attributed to climate change, many wonder if the tourist attraction is threatened.
