The Frontier supercomputer is the world’s first exascale supercomputer (with an exact HPL score of 1.102 Exaflop/s) and has just made its formal debut at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) at the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
Justin Whitt is OLCF's Program Director and the project director for Frontier. WUOT’s Chrissy Keuper spoke with Whitt earlier this summer, just after the TOP500 project ranked Frontier the fastest supercomputer in the world.
