Dialogue: Mental Health Programs in Tennessee Schools

99190_wuot_dialogue_logo_web.jpg

When Tennessee students ask for help with their mental health, or more likely don’t ask for help, what help is available to them? In addition to school counselors, who else is there for assistance? WUOT's Chrissy Keuper discussed this with Kayla Mumphrey, Director of School-Based Initiatives at the Tennessee Department of Health and Substance Abuse Services; Caitlin Ensley, Senior Director of Education and Outreach at the Mental Health Association of East Tennessee; Lindsay Stone, Director of Children and Youth Mental Health Programming at the McNabb Center; and Janice Cook, Director of School Culture for Knox County Schools.
