WUOT News is partnering with ProPublica’s Electionland to report on voting problems in East Tennessee.

The project is a coalition of newsrooms around the country investigating issues related to voter registration, pandemic-related changes to voting, the shift to vote-by-mail, cybersecurity, voter education, misinformation, and more.

You can help us investigate. Electionland has launched a tip line for voters to report obstacles they encounter while attempting to cast their ballots this year. The information you share will add to WUOT's election coverage this fall.

Have you encountered mail ballot delivery problems, a voting location that changed, long lines, registration problems, purged voter rolls, broken machines or voter intimidation? Let us know.

  • SMS: Text the word VOTE of VOTA (for Spanish) to 81380 (standard text message rates apply).
  • WhatsApp: Send the word VOTE or VOTA (for Spanish) to 1-850-909-8683.
  • Facebook Messenger: Go to m.me/electionland.
  • Complete this form to share your election experience with us so that ProPublica and WUOT News can investigate.

Those who sign up before they vote will get a message on Election Day to ask how the voting experience went. That information will be passed along to Electionland partners, including WUOT.
