Flatwater Tales Storytelling Festival

Flatwater Tales Storytelling Festival
The Flatwater Tales Storytelling Festival presents three nationally acclaimed storytellers for the weekend festival. The Rev. Robert B. Jones Sr., whose stories celebrate history, humor and the power of American Roots music, will kick off the 7 p.m. June 6 festival event with his story, "The History of America through Music." Storytellers Anne Shimojima, whose folk tales from around the world enlighten, educate and inspire audiences, and Bil Lepp, an award-winning storyteller, author, and recording artist known for his hilarious tales, will present stories also.
Inspired by the International Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tenn., Flatwater Tales continues June 7 with more stories from these talented storytellers.
