With the field of major-party presidential candidates down to two -- presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden and President Donald Trump -- we thought it would be a good time to explore what we know about the respective candidates' plans for health care in America.
The short answer is, not much. Biden's public option plan has not been explained in detail, and more progressive voices in the Democratic party are trying to get Biden on board with plans to expand access to insurance and care. President Trump, angling for a second trem in office, has not released a specifc health care proposal, but his administration continues to chip away at the Affordable Care Act.
In this edition of HealthConnections, Dr. Carole Myers gives you a snapshot of the candidates' views on health care as they currently stand.
