Clara Prinston spoke with violinist and soloist Paul Huang via zoom to discuss his collaboration with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. Huang will be performing Max Bruch’s violin concerto in the upcoming October Moxley Charmichael Masterworks concerts. The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will be opening their 2021-2022 season with a program including Umoja: Anthem for Unity by Valerie Coleman, Edward Elgar's Enigma Variations, and a brand new take on Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The Four Seasons will include live spoken word from members of Knoxville-based poetry collective, The 5th Woman, and violinist Robyn Bollinger. In this interview, Clara Prinston speaks with KSO Music Director Aram Demirjian and Rhea Carmon, Executive Director of The 5th Woman and Knoxville's Poet Laureate. 

Aram Demirjian and Reverend Renee Kessler join Clara Prinston to discuss the March Moxley Carmichael Masterworks concert. The program will be presented by the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with the Beck Cultural Exchange Center. Works featured will include the KSO debut of composer Carlos Simon, as well as other works by Joseph Haydn, Joseph Boulogne, and Florence Price.
