The Knoxville-based contemporary music ensemble, Nief-Norf, presents three sets at this year's Big Ears Festival. Each set has a different theme and features music by numerous composers. Additionally, he discusses the finale concert of the festival, which he will co-direct with Steven Schick: a performance of John Luther Adams' Inuksuit, which will be presented outdoors at Ijams Nature Center at 12pm.
Nief-Norf performs Thursday, March 31st at 10:30pm at The Square Room, Friday, April 1st at 12:30pm, also at the Square Room, and Saturday April 2nd at 11am at "The Sanctuary." More information on the Big Ears Festival is available at bigearsfestival.com
