Dialogue: The Latest Data On Homelessness In Knoxville-Knox County

http://www.nationofchange.org/sites/default/files/UtahReducesHomelessness011814.jpg

The Knoxville-Knox County Homelessness Coalition was formed in 1986 to study homelessness in the area and to determine and coordinate services available to the homeless. Every two years, the Coalition presents a study on homelessness we'll hear the results of that study, along with the details of the City of Knoxville's latest plan to address homelessness.

WUOT's Chrissy Keuper hosts with guests Roger Nooe (Director of Social Services for the Community Law Office; first President of the Knoxville-Knox County Homelessness Coalition; Professor Emeritus, UT-Knoxville) and Michael Dunthorn (City of Knoxville Community Development Office on Homelessness)...

Chrissy served as WUOT's News Director and host of monthly public affairs talk show Dialogue from late 2021 to early 2023. Her first job with the station was as weekend student announcer while earning her bachelor's in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee. She had previously been the station's local host for NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered news programs; occasionally filled in as host for WUOT's Morning and Afternoon Concerts; and won multiple awards for her interviews, feature stories, and Dialogue.
