In 1917, a partnership of Walter Drey, general manager of the Magazine of Wall Street, and business reporter B.C. Forbes formed Forbes Magazine. The magazine did well through the 1920s, but suffered through the Great Depression alongside many other businesses. Forbes’ grandson, Steve Forbes, is Editor-in-Chief of the magazine and Chair and CEO of Forbes Media LLC. He spoke with WUOT’s Chrissy Keuper about his family’s financial philosophies, inflation, and the importance of investments for the average American.
