Dialogue: Mental Health Triage for the Holidays

The holidays are nearly upon us again and they could look very different this year compared to last year’s lonely lockdowns. WUOT's Chrissy Keuper and a panel of specialists discussed mental health triage, focusing on anger management, anxiety and depression, grief, and addiction.

The panel:

Kristina Gordon - Associate Dean and Director, Gordon Couples Research Lab

Kate Sullivan, MSN, APN - Knoxville Behavioral & Mental Health Services

David Patterson - Cooper-Herron Endowed Professor in Mental Health Research and Practice

James Clemmons and Jonathan Hines - Freedom from Anger, LLC

Chrissy is WUOT's News Director and host of monthly public affairs talk show Dialogue. Her first job with the station was as weekend student announcer while earning her bachelor's in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee. She has been the station's local host for NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered news programs; occasionally fills in as host for WUOT's Morning and Afternoon Concerts; and has won multiple awards for her interviews, feature stories, and Dialogue.
