Zareena Grewal On Being Muslim In America

Zareena Grewal is a historical anthropologist who has spent well over a decade studying Muslims in America and around the world. Her book, "Islam is a Foreign Country: American Muslims and the Global Crisis of Authority," looked at transnational Muslim networks. Her new book, due soon, examines the impact of the Quran in America.

"Is The Quran A Good Book?" looks at how Americans perceive Islamic scripture, and how it may be misinterpreted by some. Issues of misinterpretation, misrepresentation and more are in this interview --made all the more timely in a cultural climate that appears to be moving away from multicultural acceptance.
