Help Close the Gap on June 12
As a listener, you know that WUOT's largest, single source of revenue comes from listeners like you. Support from loyal listeners has kept our service strong for the past 70 years. Normally, we raise enough money during our Fall and Spring fund drives to cover our operating expenses. While we should be celebrating as we approach June 30, the end of our fiscal year, we are instead looking at a budget shortfall.
We need you. One of WUOT's long-time listeners, who wishes to remain anonymous, has sweetened the pot in hopes that it will inspire you to support the public radio you count on. She loves the station and encourages you to join her in supporting WUOT. In her words:
"When I began donating to WUOT, I could afford to give only a small amount each year. Over time I've been able to increase my pledge amount, and now I'm grateful for the opportunity to fund this matching campaign. If you appreciate and rely on WUOT, and especially if you haven't donated recently, I urge you to give what you can so that WUOT can continue to offer the vital programming that we're so fortunate to have."
This donor has offered a $24,000 matching challenge, and your pledge will be matched dollar-for-dollar. In this way, your $50 gift becomes $100 in support to the station; a $100 gift becomes $200. We can do this, but we need your help.
