DLiA Wants the Public's Help in Searching for the "Smokies Most Wanted"

Discover Life in America, the nonprofit that oversees the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, is asking park visitors to become citizen scientists. Visitors can use the iNaturalist app to report species that they encounter in the park, including more than a hundred of the most elusive species, known as the Smokies Most Wanted. Will Kuhn is DLiA's Director of Science and Research and he spoke with WUOT’s Chrissy Keuper about the Smokies Most Wanted program.

Chrissy is WUOT's News Director, as well as host of All Things Considered. Her first job with the station was as a weekend student announcer while earning her bachelor's in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee. From 2004 to 2015, she served as the station's local host for Morning Edition. In 2019, she returned to the station as the local host for All Things Considered.
