As a young man growing up in the 1970's, Gerry Boylan hitchhiked all around the U.S. and Canada. He says he probably covered more than 100,000 miles. Thirty-five years later, he's written a novel called "Getting There", based on his experiences. And to promote it, he's hitchhiking his way down I-75.
