Lisa is Membership Coordinator for WUOT. She keeps busy partnering with a core group of 80 fantastic volunteers, managing a 10,000 entry database, working on the fund drives, and handling behind the scenes logistics. She received a BA in international marketing from Franklin & Marshall College and worked for four years there at the Office of Admission. Lisa is a certified mediator with six years of experience in mediating and training in Knox County. She planned a 4,500 national federal conference for several years and managed various aspects including budgeting, project plans, reporting, and logistics including transportation, website, and registration. In her spare time (what’s that?!), she balances out her chocolate obsession by hiking, swing dancing, and running after a cat that thinks it’s a dog.
Lisa first knew that she wanted to join WUOT and public radio in general while listening to Click and Clack so much that they seemed to become virtual family members. Her favorite shows include Sound & Spirit, Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me, With Heart and Voice, Music from the Hearts of Space, Morning Concert, and Fresh Air. In other words, just about everything!
