Greg Hill has come to WUOT from WYSO Public Radio in Dayton, Ohio and Red River Radio in Shreveport, Louisiana. Greg is the new Operations Director, which is sometimes a difficult position to describe. It’s sort of a “rover” position, stealing a sports term. Making sure the technical systems are running properly is his main focus, but he’ll also be working with the staff whenever they need him. Printer jam, anyone?
Greg was born and raised in Louisiana. He studied Mass Communications at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, graduating in 1997. Greg is a huge SEC sports fan (roots primarily for his alma mater). His wife, Patricia, is also an LSU grad. They have two young children, Caleb and Andrew, and you may spot them sporting UT clothing (big thanks to Regina Dean!).
