Mozart's 250th Birthday: Live Concert from the Festspielhaus, Salzburg

Live from the Salzburg Festspielhaus, the Vienna Philharmonic in the Gala Mozart Birthday Concert conducted by Riccardo Muti; Mitsuko Uchida, piano; Renee Fleming, soprano; Thomas Hampson, baritone; Yuri Bashmet, viola; violinist to be announced. Hosted by Martin and Jeff Spurgeon.

At approximately 2 pm, Lisa and Paul Bachman will co-host a special intermission, which is timed to coincide with the exact time of Mozart's birth. We'll hear more than 100 Salzburg churches ringing their bells for 7 minutes in his honor.


At approximately 2:30 pm, the Gala Mozart Birthday Concert resumes.
