In the summer of 2006, WUOT completed the second phase of the digital conversion process: upgrading our control room and production studios to digital and installing the new "Content Depot" system, the mechanism which allows WUOT to retrieve and broadcast programming from the public radio satellite.

The "temporary" main control room was located in what was a conference room in the suite. WUOT's engineer, Mike Murrell, along with assistant Kevin Potter, disassembled the original control room and reassembled it here in less than two days!
