· The Evelyn Miller Young Pianist Series, featuring Spencer Myer Jan. 13, Stephen Beus Feb. 24 and Sara Daneshpour March 30. Concerts are at 2:30 p.m. in the Music Hall of the UT Music Building.

· Appalachian Ballet and Guests, a spring performance presented by the Appalachian Ballet Company on March 29, 2008, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Bijou Theatre.

· The Fisk Jubilee Singers: Singing Our Song, a National Endowment for the Arts Masterpiece Initiative concert of slave spirituals and historic music hosted by the Arts & Culture Alliance and the Tennessee Arts Commission Feb. 15, 2008.

· Dancing at Lughnasa, presented by the Wild Thyme Players Feb. 28-March 2, 2008, at the John T. O’Connor Center.

· The ETPtv Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive, Feb. 8 though March 7, to collect new or gently worn sweaters and clothing to benefit Child & Family Tennessee.

· The Issues Committee of the University of Tennessee presents investigative journalist and author Frank Seymour Hersh on Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the University Center Auditorium. The event is free.

· Winter 2008 Lexus of Knoxville Legendary Performances, presented by the Historic Tennessee Theatre Foundation

· 2007-2008 Market Square Farmers’ Market, presented by the Market Square District Association

· HeartSong Gala for the Arts Battle of the Big Bands and Brush with Fame Art Auction, a benefit for the East Tennessee Technology Access Center's HeartSong Center for Accessible Art & Music, on March 1, 2008.
