Free 'Beginning Genealogy' workshop

Want to discover your family heritage but don't quite know how to begin? The FREE 'Beginning Genealogy' workshop is designed for people who want help starting their search for their history. Begin your ancestor search using family, governmental, library and electronic resources. Helpful forms, census records, major internet sites, published sources, and library research will be explained with hands-on computer participation by those attending. Each person will work on their own family and leave with new information! Instructor: Ann Blomquist, MEd.

Space is limited, and pre-registration and a valid email address are required to attend this workshop. Call 215-8809 to register.

The Genealogical Lecture Series is co-sponsored by the East Tennessee Historical Society, the McClung Historical Collection - Knox County Public Library, and the Knox County Archives.
