The February Knoxville-Knox County Council on Aging meeting will offer Gearing Up to Gear Down.  Antique appraiser Joe Rosson will offer tips and advice on choosing and preparing for an appraiser. Rick Crane, who does estate sales, will discuss the difference between an estate sale and a garage sale, and how to choose professional help. The meeting will take place at the John T. O’Connor Senior Center, 611 Winona Street, starting at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 11.

At the monthly meeting, the Council on Aging presents issues of interest to area seniors, their caregivers and eldercare professionals.  Council on Aging membership is free, and the meetings are open to the public.
