Knoxville Opera is proud to present the Metropolitan Opera’s newest star, soprano Rachele Gilmore, in the title role of Donizetti’s dramatic masterpiece Lucia di Lammermoor on Friday, February 12 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Tennessee Theatre on Gay Street in Downtown Knoxville.  An onstage Opera Preview by Maestro Brian Salesky offering insights into the production and the opera will commence 45 minutes prior to each performance.
