This Valentine's day concert offering includes two powerful works from the Romantic era: Giuseppe Verdi's Overture to La Forza del Destino, and Piotr Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 2. Also featured on the program is Wolfgang Mozart's famous Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra, featuring School of Music faculty clarinetist Gary Sperl, performing on a rare Buffet Extended-Range Basset-Clarinet.
